After a successful audio system refurbishment, Vaughan Sound has been contracted to provide continual maintenance support at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium for the next ten years.
Initially appointed by the Welsh Rugby Union to re-engineer the existing sound system, Vaughan Sound completed an ambitious project, revising and reconfiguring the previously installed equipment and adding new components where necessary to enhance the audio quality, intelligibility and overall coverage.
Having impressed with their prompt and professional service, the team were subsequently requested to supply ongoing maintenance support and cover the technical aspect of pre-match entertainment.
The multi-purpose 74,500-seat stadium frequently hosts an array of exciting events from rugby and football matches to music and motorsports concerts. With all life safety and communications equipment tested prior to each occasion, Vaughan Sound visit the building on a regular basis to ensure that spectators have the best experience possible.
Previous events we have provided assistance with include the Six Nations 2011 games, the World Cup warm-up matches and the highly-successful Take That concert.
