Enhanced facilities at Archbishop McGrath

Appointed by Leadbitter Construction, Vaughan Sound has designed, supplied and installed a full range of sound, lighting and audio-visual systems within the newly-built Archbishop McGrath Catholic High School.

Based in Bridgend, the £20 million learning institution for 11-19 year olds required efficient and effective equipment for its main performance hall, which regularly hosts assemblies and events, as well as its state-of-the-art recording studio and practice rooms.

Meeting the client’s brief, the school was provided with a wide range of cost-effective solution-led products. The main hall benefitted from an adaptable sound, lighting and AV package, complete with a full stage curtain rig, whilst the recording and rehearsal rooms received signal facility panels, an audio mixer, as well as communal microphones and studio monitors.

Vaughan Sound has worked on many education-based projects throughout the South Wales region including Coleg Gwent Crosskeys, Newport High and Cowbridge Comprehensive School.
