Pennar Church, Pembroke Dock - Vaughan Sound

Vaughan Sound has installed a 16-channel digital sound system, as part of its AV upgrade works at Pennar Community Church on Bufferland Terrace in Pembroke Dock.

The digital mixer amplifier comes complete with built-in Wi-Fi and USB recording facility, and has been combined with a Yamaha P5000 power amplifier.

Sound is delivered via RCF cabinet and monitor loudspeakers, providing even coverage throughout the church.

Vaughan Sound manufactured custom brackets for loudspeakers fitted to pillars, ensuring that care and consideration was given to the aesthetics and sensitive structure of the church interior.

Lapel and handheld microphones have been provided, together with a miniature gooseneck at the lectern position and all associated cabling and leads, covering all church service and event requirements.

65” and 32” displays have also been installed on wall mount brackets, with HDMI input points and distribution included.

The project was completed with the testing and certification of the existing induction loop system, with Vaughan Sound engineers checking for correct operation in accordance with BS EN 60118-4 and DDA requirements for the hard of hearing.
