Vaughan Sound has recently completed the upgrade of the public address control system and remedial works to the audio equipment within the hospitality boxes at Cardiff Arms Park.
The city centre stadium, which is home to semi-professional Cardiff RFC and the professional Cardiff Blues regional rugby union team, required improvements to the existing media matrix system, as well as attention to faults.
A BSS Soundweb BLU 100 digital processor and BLU-6 remote controller were proposed, supplied and fitted along with a Cloud CPM-8 zoned paging microphone, in order to significantly upgrade the previous equipment in place.
Following an extensive site survey, various audio faults were identified and later rectified, whilst two new wall mounted loudspeakers and volume control were installed within the disabled lounge.
An ambient noise microphone was also supplied to the stadium, with cable sockets and the programming of the DSP Soundweb included with the installation.
By identifying audio issues and specifying equipment to significantly enhance the stadium’s technology, Vaughan Sound was successful in providing future proof solutions to another satisfied client in the stadia sector.
