Mark is a highly professional, knowledgeable electrical engineer and sales manager, with a wealth of technical experience spanning 30 years – covering installation, service and maintenance, testing and certification of sound, communications, audio visual and stage lighting systems.
Beginning his studies in 1992, he has successfully completed several City & Guilds courses and holds multiple qualifications in electrical installation, inspection, testing and maintenance management.
Originally employed by PA Installations (PAI), Mark opted to go self employed in 1993 to work on a major electrical and audio-visual maintenance contract for Rank Leisure.
After returning to the PAI Group of Companies in 1998 he spent four years within our service and technical department, before an 11-year spell as a domestic electrical subcontractor and self employed electrician serving a major contract for Luminar Leisure.
Alongside this, Mark set up his own company – The Appliance Tester – in 2006 to provide PAT testing, emergency lighting maintenance, plus electrical contracting and maintenance.
He returned to PAI Group once again in 2013, taking on the role of Service Engineer.
Mark has since moved into a sales-focused, account management role as our service and support offering continues to expand.
He now manages many of our planned preventative maintenance (PPM) accounts, working closely with local authorities, schools, health boards, public sector bodies, facility managers, bursars and venue managers to ensure systems remain compliant to British standards and in optimum working order.
