Vaughan Sound has equipped Coleg Gwent’s Crosskeys Campus with impressive stage lighting, sound and audio-visual systems.
Featuring a sports hall, along with dance, drama and music studios, Vaughan Sound was appointed by electrical contractor NG Bailey to enhance the learning experience with state-of-the-art technical equipment.
Enabling students to become accustomed with technology used in the entertainment business, industry-standard products, which included a cyclorama stage curtain and professional lighting console, were installed in the drama space.
The dance and music rooms were provided with a portable rack, holding audio amplifiers, a pitch-controlled CD player, a radio microphone receiver and an audio mixer, whilst the sports hall received a flown full range line array sound system.
NG Bailey’s Project Director Martin Wadey was delighted with the installation: “The project has run smoothly from start to finish and I can’t speak highly enough of Vaughan Sound’s Project Manager and Installation Engineers.”
