Chris is a highly qualified professional with in-depth experience of key commercial, financial, procurement, planning procedures and sales administration functions. Having previously spent almost a decade at leading aluminium producer, Alcoa, he is well accustomed to managing internal and external customer and supplier relationships across Europe.
Chris’ qualifications – which include a Masters in Management, IOSH Managing Safely, Certificate of Resource Efficiency, Association Accounts Technician (AAT), BA (Hons) in Economics and Social Industrial Studies and BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance – have all given him a comprehensive understanding and focus on continuous improvement of the business processes for the PAI Group.
As Commercial Director, Chris is responsible for all strategic and operational support functions for the business; creating and managing our annual operations plans, setting targets and KPIs and utilising extensive financial and sales data to generate forecasts. He also oversees all credit control activities, ensuring adequate cash-flow for supplier payments, managing credit applications, and working closely with auditors on the publication of accounts for each of the companies within the Group.
With a Level 5 NVQ in Operational Management and Level 5 Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply, Chris leads our procurement and logistics teams diligently to ensure products are received and distributed to our clients and project sites efficiently and cost-effectively.
Chris has recently bolstered his CV with the addition of ITIL and Prince2 (Foundation plus Programme and Project Sponsorship) certifications.
