Vaughan Sound has completed upgrades to the sound system installed at The Bridge, Llangennech.
The restaurant, located on Bridge Street in the centre of the Carmarthenshire village, prides itself on its homemade food using local produce, excellent service and great atmosphere.
Central to that atmosphere, which continues to attract large numbers of punters old and new, is a four-zone background music and sound system.
Vaughan Sound installed a range of compact and discrete cabinet loudspeakers throughout the bar, servery, and dining and conservatory areas. Externally, IP64 rated weatherproof speakers have been fitted, with isolation switches to prevent any noise nuisance to adjacent properties.
Remote volume controls were included for each of the four loudspeaker zones, installed at a convenient position behind the bar, along with a microphone point. The existing Cloud amplifier used to control the system was also serviced and cleaned as part of our works.
Adam Hatto, Restaurant Manager at The Bridge, was full of praise for Vaughan Sound’s work: “We recently started enquiring about upgrading the sound system at our restaurant.
“We invited four or five companies in for a site visit and a quote. The quote we received from yourselves was the most comprehensive, clear to understand and competitively priced. We also wanted to support local business.
“For all these reasons we decided to go with Vaughan Sound. The technician who came to install the system worked around our hours, understanding that we needed the restaurant clear at midday. The mess/interruption was minimal and the job was quickly and professionally completed.
“Since the installation the quality of sound and ease of use is easily noticeable and comments have already been made by our guests that the music is much better. The truth is that the music is the same, but the system is much better!
“Thank you so much, from everyone at The Bridge.”Back to top
